Hello.

where everyone can thrive.

Let's build organizations

Hi! I’m Joyce.

I believe a world of abundance for everyone is possible — and that all of us can play a role in creating it.

I believe that the work of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) can take many forms but fundamentally calls us to re-imagine systems that have been designed to work only for some and not for all. I view my work with organizations as part of building a world that offers us all what we need to live and thrive — everything from our basic necessities for survival to the tangibles and intangibles that bring us joy, dignity, safety, and all the other pieces of being human that each person deserves in life. This is big, collective work.

To that end, I partner with organizations and leaders who want to explore their piece of this broader vision and build their microcosm of this world. I adopt multiple approaches in my work, which focuses on connecting personal experiences, collective identities, and systemic forces to build concrete strategies for effective change. Among my approaches are: consulting to design pathways towards equity, facilitating to grow our capacity for awareness through action, and speaking and writing that contribute to conversations in these areas. In each of these approaches, I believe that partnership and connection are critical to driving lasting change.

Thanks for being here.

Let’s take this journey together.

What I write:

(*If the post is on social media but is five paragraphs long, is it really short-form content?)
